We tried the coffee this morning and LOVED it! It has a very nice flavor with ZERO bitterness which is awesome! I really like how it wasn’t too strong for a medium blend and wasn’t too bland either. It’s like getting a steak that has the perfect amount of pink in it. I thought it was fabulous and would definitely order more.

After many late nights working global shifts and grinding through his MBA, Nick Peñaloza relied heavily on coffee to stay sharp. But no matter how much he drank, he kept complaining about the bitter, burnt flavors until his wife finally gave him an ultimatum: do something about it or stop complaining.
Taking the challenge seriously, Nick stopped at Sweet Maria’s in Oakland to pick up his first bag of green coffee beans. He roasted his first batch at home and that first cup wasn’t just better, it was transformative. It was as if the flavor made music in his ears.
That’s when Forte Legato was born.
